As I Listen To The Rain

I'd rather listen
to the rain than anything
its voice is so beautiful
when it starts to sing
When I listen
to the rain
the music
of the raindrops
are loud and clear
More than anything
the rain I wish to hear
I hear
the rain when it makes
its beautiful sound
Sweet raindrops
splatter themselves
upon the ground
