As I Live And Leave Poem by David Chishimba

As I Live And Leave

As I live, I leave both
A trail of mended and broken hearts(others gaze at me, snap their fingers and raise their shoulders in conclusion that I am incapable of love, others curl their lips, node their heads that they have perceived a big heart in my heart)
A trail of waste products and finished materials..
A trail of disappointed persons and awe struck gapped mouths with an engraved 'how' question in their hearts...
A convoy of tears and echoes of giggles...
A trail of ardent converts to religious faiths and backsliders...
A trail of inspired and demotivated people
A trail hard working and lazy people
At times I brood and wonder, am I villain or hero?
But what can I do?
I am only a carpenter of words, out of them I curve worlds, bridges, hearts and/or feelings..
The rest is history....
