I look out into the dark depths
The bringer of life and death as
One
The excited shouts of childhood
Penetrate the pensive silence
The present fades from around
As I drift
Into the misty depths
I fall
Down
into the vast abyss of the unknown.
I see the world as a God.
Souring above the murky depths
And ponder
Over my life at home
The stony river ever flowing
Through endless generations
All seeing all knowing
Bringing life and death
As one
Now again I fly
Diving deeper back
Into the present I
Snap
Back into cruel reality
As I look out into the dark depths.
