As My Heart



As my heart you pump the blood
which courses through my veins
You provide me with all
the love I need for the day
And evermore
you are the most important piece of me
Without you there is no me
Because as my heart
how can I live without you
Living in a room attached to a machine
That’s not life it’s only existence
