As One Poem by Lindsey Wolf

As One

I feel the magic on my finger tips
these words dancing behind my lips
the fire of inspiration to free and let rip

Give me your eyes, release your fears.
Bring forth the drain of bitter sweet tears
brush away the devil on your shoulder tucked near

the magic of you,
the magic of me
the magic dwelling inside of all living beings
the ecstasy inside that makes you stand and sing

look around quickly, all the people you see.
sure we are all different but one thing we can agree
because there really is no difference between you and me
we all live, we all learn
we all love, and sometimes get burned

We all say hello
we all say goodbye
and when our journey is through we all will die.
because death no one can defy.
but our legacy never dies
because when I'm gone, I'll still remain in you
to and through, I'll always be a part of you.

My final words I leave you with,
Me and you are the same
No matter what we look like or our different names
when we make mistakes like we all do, do not blame.
because in the end, it's all our faults.
You and me are the same.
