As we sought out love (2012)

Listen as your day unfolds
challenge what the future holds
trying to keep your head up to the sky
Lovers they may cause you fears
Go ahead release your tears
stand up and be counted
don't be ashamed to cry

You gotta be
You gotta be kind
you gotta be calm
you gotta be wiser
you gotta be heart
you gotta be tough
you gotta be stronger
You gotta cool
you gotta be bold
You gotta stay together
all I know, all I know is
Love will save the day

Cherish what your mother said
Read the books your father read
trying to solve the puzzles in their own sweet time
some may have more chance than you
others take a different view
Find your voice and give words a try

Time asks no questions
It goes on without you
Leaving you behind if you can't stand the pain
The world keeps on spinning
no matter how you try to
Find the words for love and let them fly
oh... Love remembers how...

You gotta be
You gotta be kind
you gotta be calm
you gotta be wiser
you gotta be heart
you gotta be tough
you gotta be stronger
You gotta cool
you gotta be bold
You gotta stay together
all I know, all I know is
Love will save the day

Listen as your day unfolds
Challenge what the future holds
trying to keep your head up to the sky
Lovers they may cause you fears
Go ahead release your tears
Stand up and be counted
don't be ashamed to cry

poet Robert Browning

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
