As We Walk On The Stars Poem by Leanna Ward

As We Walk On The Stars

Rating: 5.0

And as we walk on the stars,
We know that everything is as good as ours.
If they begin to fall, We haven't lost it all.
When the nights get cold and we start to shake,
we won't care cause we know what's at stake.
The full moon phase will end and the darkness will surely come.
But don't be afraid my dear, I'll be your light.
.
As our feet finally hit the ground,
our heels will start to feel the pavements heat.
They may blister and our eyes may water.
But we won't care cause we're still going to claim what's ours.
We've come so far and no matter where we are,
we'll always belong in one another's arms.
.
As we put the past aside, forgetting our fears.
The rest of the earth will start to fade.
It'll be just you and me,
the way it's meant to be.
We'll be dancing effortlessly
