As Your Last Gesture Holds Poem by Danie Babcock

As Your Last Gesture Holds

One step at a time,
breaks the smoothness of ice,
Colors bounce off the center circle,
Where her pose - left to stand,
A melody arise,
Eyes glisten brightly,
The Que awaits,
Gradual beautiful moving gesture,
feet regress' balancing forward,
Picking up, owning the frost,
her body gently holds inspiration,
She keeps Dancing, Dancing,
Living within a dream come true,
Classical notes swift her body,
The swarm, emotionally moved,
Heart to hand, skate to blade,
As her last gesture holds...
skating such beauty,
revealing herself to the ice.
