Ascending

laid across silk scarves and bathed in the honeydew flowers of lust and desire.pampering servants hand me the world on a lily cover tray coated in shades of gray and silver.still i long for something more... embellished with all the sweetnesses of completion. surrounded with love and understanding. but the absence of comfort dwells in these half-heartedly merry halls of my heart. guided into a dinning hall of loneliness and distance. a longing crawls along the foundation of this astranged monument of disappointments. the weary keeper of this manor moans for the her companion who entices her and then eludes her chase with swift feet, a fickle tonuge, and a transeparent paper heart. cold laughter of rejection echoes from these eery walls and threatens to go through the roof. so then the roof explodes and the smoke covers the aftermath... ashes lay as evidence. from them i rise and spread my wings in flight, i ascend from this place, from this broken heart, from these broken hopes and dreams. i ascend and flourish from these weakening dose of fairy tales. reality lingers in the distant clouds soon i'll know that i was never there and it'll just disappear
