At Every Turn Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

At Every Turn

Rating: 5.0

I have missed and loved you at every turn
I have miserably failed and now wait for your return
I have undergone loneliness and bore all the brunt
The black patches are not seen as if whole body is burnt

Even with advancement of the age, the feelings do not die
The mind is still active and wants on high wings to fly
Though the body may refuse to go along with fantasy
Still it refreshes the mind with something around so rosy

Only fortunate may have the blessing from the God
He may have to heat it as the wishes from the lord
It is he who favors the situation and makes very easy
So spare some time for his prayers even if you remain busy

Many good things take shape in our life span
Things may move in orderly way even if not planned
Someone may start loving at unknown juncture
That may altogether make it rosy for near future

You may want that somebody should warmly hug
Greet the occasion every time and do not pull the rug
It is at one particular moment that you need dear one
Who can always stand by your side and shared by none

It is not holding of hands or moving to gather
It is about sharing the grief and joy for each other
What should bother you when living apart?
That moment should never come in life to depart

The relation may grow strong only when there is realization
The family bond is different altogether as an organization
It reflects the correct mood of an individual along with courtesy
It is mutual respect and words to reassure for her modesty

It may so happen that you are deserted mid way
The sun may prove to be very hot as it rises in mid day
It may make you to think with some of the alternatives
The timely help may not come from friends or relatives

The decision has to be taken with bold initiative
When it is taken with precision one must remain very active
It is not one time exception or may be over
You will be exposed with flank and find no cover

You should neither be guided by temporary leisure
nor should you go in with alternative measure
It may make you vulnerable in friend circle
It will be more or less compared to hard life cycle
