‘At Heart'
by Trevor Valentine

Am I but a child
A wannabe Peter Pan
Who never grew up?

Should I put away
My childish thoughts
And worn out toys?

Should I embrace
And target
The Adult Life?

No, I think not.

For if this is childlike delusion
Bring it on,
Let it stay.

I be quite quite happy.

Love,
Peter.
