At The Opera Of The Poets Poem by Hebert Logerie

At The Opera Of The Poets

The sky is young and black.
Will you sing for me tonight,
At the Opera of the Poets?
Will you jump like happy moppets,
Maxine, for fun, to bewitch me,
To take me in, and to drive me crazy?

The sky is beautiful and black.
In the plane, will you watch tonight
The sparkling stars with me?
I loved you the first time
I saw you. You are in your prime;
It is obvious that you are très jolie.

The sky is black and hot.
Will you share tonight
With me? Blonde Silhouette,
You turned me into a Poet
I am waiting for you, with flowers,
Candies, whistles and bells.
