Attain…what Remains? Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Attain…what Remains?

Rating: 5.0

Constantly gathering… attaining opalescence
As consciousness is frozen into luminescence
Filled with a lustrous glow after life concludes
Entrusted with the ability to recreate moods

Layers of time adhere like colors of fused glass
Transparencies of confetti in a captured mass
Inclusions that give blessings and a final amen…
A precious gem that celebrates now and then

The revered jewel is extraordinary and unique
It Inspires observers as they reminiscently speak
Intentions and accumulation will soon be revealed
Anxious heirs anticipate… after lips are sealed
