Attitude Poem by Edwina Reizer

Attitude

As I grow older by the minute
And gather in every thought,
I've come to realize every day
That happiness can't be bought.
It's not for sale nor ever was.
It does not have a price.
Those that have it understand
That it's their piece of Paradise.

It's free for the taking all the time.
It's all about attitude.
You get up every morning and decide
your pervasive feeling, your mood.
Only you can choose which you want.
Do you wish to be a victim?
Or would you rather be positive
And fill your cup to the brim?

Life is never about losing.
It's about learning from your past.
And if your past has cost too much
Then leave it in the past.
