Autumn Sun Poem by Vickii Kline

Autumn Sun

As the morning sun peeks over the horizon
Leaves still frozen from the night
The tiny leaf tries to get its first glimpse of the sun
Before it falls. Slowly it rises bring warmth and love
Cradling the leaf as it falls to the ground swirling through the air
Its last chance to be beautiful before departing
