He doesnt know the way I feel
He doesnt know the way I love him
The way i lie awake in the nite thinking about him!
I see him in the halls
going from class to class
Talking to friends,
to our friends
and that is all he'll ever see me as
A FRIEND!
At times i just want to scream 'I LOVE YOU'
but i'm terrified of rejection
what will he do?
what will he say?
to a no body like me
to the truth that lies deep inside of this empty shell of a girl?
i'll wave, say hello, smile and grin
he smiles back and says the words i've waited to hear all day
hey Vickii, i hear those words, i melt into goo
i keep walking away, day dream of us what could be
but never will be the fairy tale i want it to be!
