Avening House Poem by Claire Galpin

Avening House

Some people say its haunted,
Some people say its not,
Some don’t know what to say,
Except it’s a load of rot.

The house is very shiny,
And painted here and there,
There are pretty decorations
Upon the ceiling everywhere.

There are pillars outside,
And in the hall too,
Dormitories for four and more,
Showers and sinks for all.
