Awakening Poem by Emma Michelle

Awakening

I died one day
I woke up the next to peace
Then the world came in and all I saw was violence
I look in the mirror and all I see fragments with slight bits of lights peaking through
Sadness pain in my heart when I remember who I am
Awakened but only for a moment.
