Ed rocks back and forth
In his long comfortable easy chair
A thought
It enters his mind
Aging is a process
Involves sickness
Involves death
In his mind
Is activated
A sense of seriousness!

The body is good at
Sending messages
Some of them you get
Some of them
You don't

Now when you walk
It takes you much longer
To get to
Where you are going to!
Everything takes much longer
Now
And some of the things you
Used to enjoy
Is now off limit!
Ed now realizes
Age is a process
And he is now being
Fully processed!
