Awareness Acts As Intransitive Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Awareness Acts As Intransitive

Awareness differs from consciousness.
Consciousness is on contact with some;
A reflection against a surface.
Awareness is absolute itself.
It needs no contact with some to exist.
Consciousness bridges the object with the subject.
Awareness lingers in the subject.
Consciousness comes from perception.
Awareness comes from idea of thinking.
I am aware that I exist and not dead.
I am conscious I live in this building.
I am aware about the Taj Mahal.
I am conscious of its beauty when seen.
Knowledge must shift from the objective field
To the subjective field to gain wisdom.
Train your awareness as you advance in age.
