Awaz Magar Bharra Jaye

Ab gham jo mile to itna mile ehsas se jo takra jaey,
Ghut ghut ke jiye jane wala is jeene se ghabra jaey.
Jan dard bhari awaz sahi, dil ek shikasta saz sahi,
Is saz mein lekin tar to hay jab choat lage tharra jaye,
Main gham ko chupati rahti hoon, main ashkon ko pee jati hoon,
Main shikwah kisi se karti nahin awaz magar bharra jaey.
Jab andhiare aate hain parchaeen bhi sath nahin hoti,
Phir tujhse shikayet keya karna, tu keyun na mujhe thukra jaey.
Woh ek saheli bachpan ki ab mujhse aankh churati hay,
Rahon mein agar mil jae kahin raste se mere katra jaye.
Aaina liye phirti hoon magar woh shakhs kahin bhi milta nahin,
Aiy kash kabhi taqreeb to ho aur samne mere aa jaey.
Woh hans ke kahe beeti batein ab choro inka keya karna,
Koi aisi bat woh kah jaye, koi aisa roop dikha jaye.
Keya jane muhabbat lat hay koi ya lafani ek jazba hay,
Koi jane na koi samjhe na phir kaun mujhe samjha jaey.
