Baby Comes Home Poem by Ray Hansell

Baby Comes Home

The sign upon the house
Says, "Welcome Home"
They'll take a lot of pictures
To show her when she's grown

She is only two days old
Her life has just begun
She'll be watched over and loved
By her parents who themselves are young

The three of them will travel
A journey down life's road
Than when she is all grown up
To her, her story will be told

The sign on the house
Says, "Welcome Home"
This will be her safe haven
Until she's fully grown
