Back Stabbers Poem by Malory Joyce

Back Stabbers

Rumors really reveal the identity of a friend,
we all have or secrets to be trusted,
yet I thought mine were by one another,
I find myself left to blame by you in the end.
My secret was betrayed by your own soul my friend,
you left it running down the road in tears,
it even left me heartbroken without a hand to lend.
You would think after the years of being good friends,
we could all believe to be helped by each other.
We were the sweet soring sticky candy,
turns out candy was never healthy,
I imagined my friendship to be treated well.
My dear friend this is my confession,
I don't have a fear of looking at you anymore,
also for your words that does not have my attention.
This is your biggest mistake,
I already have a doubt you can fix this one,
because I was the one you came to,
I understand that was the choice you were willing to take.
Unlike people I have learned to forgive and forget,
although I was the one who shouldn't have,
but that's just forever now another regret.
The walls in my room listen better than you,
they also can never judge what I have to say,
the walls always over heard you behind my back,
My dear 'friend' at least they will be there the next DAY.
