Bad News! Poem by Barry Van Allen

I tried to watch the news today,
but, I just couldn't see,
... Now, maybe it was me...

I guess that I don't have enough erections for them,
and although the kids are grown,
I suppose I need to buy more diapers,
... and the car is only 6 months old,
but, I guess I need another one!

It is obvious to me,
that I need 57 more insurance policies,
otherwise, I will have to take more medicine,
that may or may not kill me - - -
and then I'll have to call in 40 lawyers,
... but, I will know where to find them!

I guess I need to eat more cereal,
and I should be more concerned,
about young women without talent,
that seem to misbehave too much!

I must pay more attention,
to the moron out in California,
that thinks that he can out - run a radio!
... and when on foot, ... the helicopter camera!

I am sure I should be more involved,
in the elections that are coming up,
in 13 months - - -
rest assured, I'll be informed !

OH! , by the way - - -
what's all this about a war on terror?
