Barring Arms Poem by Randy McClave

Barring Arms

Every one has a right to bare arms
He screamed and he shouted,
Every one has the right to bare arms
He then cried and also pouted.
Then unto the crowd he goaded
Every American should be locked and loaded,
This should be a fact and not a pun
We Americans should all live by the gun.
Our children should carry guns to school
And we should carry a gun after dark,
We should be armed going to the local pool
And when we go for a walk around the park.
We should carry a gun to our job
Who knows we might run into a mob,
And we should also carry a gun when go out to eat
An illegal immigrant we might see on the street.
We should carry a gun to church, chapel and parish
We should always be locked and loaded there,
That is if of course our life we do cherish
Because, a gun can beat a Bible and a prayer.
Now if all Americans carried hardware
In peace we would live underneath the sun,
Never again would we be in fear or dread to say a prayer
Then we wouldn't live in fear of being shot dead.
