Battle Cry Poem by Saint Eule

Battle Cry

Oxymoron of the tear,
Never cry in Battle fear.
Often crying when I pray,
or writing poems like today.

Emotions overtake my mind.
Human suffering is not kind.
Hungry children, angry men.
Toxic pollution is not our friend.

Birds falling from the sky,
Fish dying and who knows why.
The garbage goes and who knows where,
I think in the water and in the air.

Pray for the earth our mother dear,
Never cry in Battle fear.
