Battle With Your Memories Poem by Chris Prabu

Battle With Your Memories

The mighty sun drowns
In the Western sky.
The darkness rapidly
Swallows the remaining light.

A mysterious fret
Haunts me callously
Which freeze my blood
And grows the aching.

After the dusk
The struggle begins fiercely.
The clouds of your memories
Chase away the gleam.

The whole night
Like sprouting of stars
Your memories multitudes
And strikes my heart.

Like thrown out of the heaven
I am encircled by darkness.
Your memories and I
An infinite battle begins all through night.
