Beauty And The Beast. (The Real Version) Poem by Sersia Benjamin

Beauty And The Beast. (The Real Version)

Shimmering eyes, misty with tears.
Full of the suffering from many a year.
The fire of hell may burn the flesh,
your wax like face melting away before my eyes.
The plastic unbeating heart exploding with heat.

Those eyes once soft and loving,
now so cruel and full of hate.
The word that befits you is monstrous.
You heartless creauture, you beast.
You ate my heart like a mighty feast.

The fairy tale you promised me.
Where the hell is it? Come on tell me!
Every single second of those days I was never quite sure how to feel, you had me on your reel.

Holding hands near the sea, all but a distant memory to me.
Why can't you just forget, and leave me be?
Because I don't need you, you need me.
But you are lower than low, you beastly creauture from my nightmares.
You hear that? Beneath me!

But not in the way you want to be.
