Beyound The Crowe's Is Where I Lie Poem by Sersia Benjamin

Beyound The Crowe's Is Where I Lie

The bonds that hold me.
The will that posseses me,
the wind that corrupts me.
The smile that infuriates me.
The never ending cliff- hanger of life.

Feeling of never knowing what will happen tomorrow
like the last step that isn't there.
The black hole that increases with the hidieous cackle in
the back of my mind.

The crowe's forever following my movements,
waiting to peck away my life.
Well peck away because my life is yours,
have your never ending pecking, for I shall not give you anything.

I am a dangerous weapon, my attitude ticking away time,
so world my middle finger salutes you.
You may have my life.
You may make an even bigger hole.

But my heart shall always be mine, mine and for no one else to see, to have it, or to be within it.

Only the light of love can truly take me.
