Beauty For Sale - Poem by Emeyazia Iwe Chukwudi

She is beautiful
Wait until you see her
The daughter of EVE
Have you ever been to the
Queen of Englands palace
But she is finest than that

I had waited all these years
To the final day I'll behold mybride
For my years of labour
But there she is, laid in another man's arms
With more economic power and fame

Beauty for sale.
