Beauty Of The Dark Poem by Tony Peacock

Beauty Of The Dark

Sick an tired of feeling this way, thoughts of death I hope don't stay, laying in bed to God I pray don't make me endure another day, an unanswered prayer gone to waste, still stuck in this horrible place, in a world full of troubles and strife, feeling tempted to end this worthless life, at the point of an all time low, one thing shines with an almighty glow, with beauty an charm from the heavens above, I finally find my one true love, an answered prayer or just sheer luck, one things for sure, I'm no longer stuck, no more prayers for an easy way out, this girl has saved me without a doubt, instead of praying to end this day, I now pray she will always stay.
