Bee Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Bee

Rating: 5.0

in gardens
in trees
in forests

around streets
around roses
around homes

always sings
always flies
always swings

no fear
no regret
no tired

tiny thing
vigorously
quickly

small creature
consume sweet
produce sweet

why don't we
learn from you
about sweetness

That's a good question. We could learn a lot about the sweet path of a honey bee. Different concept and I liked it.10! Best Wishes, Marilyn

Ah, this is soooooo sweet and touching. Beautiful. You definitely expressed understanding and compassion for nature and our little best friends who perpetuate all that is good to eat. When a fly enters my home, I help it find its way back into open space. Same with spiders and other creatures. Love them, one and all. Thank you for sharing your open heart and wisdom. Carol
