I have been thinking
that I have been drowning
in the wake of your cries
slowly fading
away from my river
in the midst of the night
where you
find me wishing
for the tears
to subside.

I have been thinking
that I have been breathing
under the sea of your eyes
second by second
hour by hour
I'm falling apart
and you find me asking
when the time is enough.

I have been thinking
that I have been dreaming
for it to be over
for me to get dry
'cause my flowers died
they took them outside
while I was trying
to keep them alive.
