Before You. Poem by dave lessard

Before You.

Rating: 4.3

Before you, there was but nothing
just chance and restless wanderings
empty promises and tragic sorrow
over ordinary, silly, mundane things.
Before you, there was only anger
profanity ascending to the skies
mistrust. deceit and dark shadows
curses, emptiness and morbid lies.
Hurt and pain and constant braying
followed by stillness and silence
ending with a heavy muttered breath
or worse than that, in harsh violence.
Before you, I thought I had it made
devising changing plans and schemes
but running into chaos and defeat
disturbing sleep and shattered dreams.
Before you, my life was all in shambles
a mess that just got worse and worse
but then I simply left you for another
and along the way, I lost my curse.

Once you have taken birth you have to face many challenges in life. The best way to survive is face the challenges bravely and win over them. Very nice write indeed. 'Before you, my life was all in shambles a mess that just got worse and worse but then I simply left you for another and along the way, I lost my curse.'.. is straight from the heart. Thanks for sharing.
