Before you look out your window
With your finger to point to accuse,
With facts you don't even know
And only your belief will you ever choose.
Before you look out that glass
With a hatred and a judgmental mentality,
Before you show your brass
With your lies and anger and brutality.
Before you look out that peephole
And call someone a murderer or a thief,
And not once did you look at their soul
But, instead you looked at their race or belief.
Before you ever look out your window
When someone's reputation you want to smear,
Before your true colors you ever do show
You better first look into your mirror.
