Begotten Love Poem by Jett Metcalf

Begotten Love

I took her words with dreadful sorrow
That love would be forgotten in the morrow

How I wish I could hold her
as my heart is getting colder

as my life of love is slowly shading
and my broken heart is fading

My life has become dull and dim
because our love had become grim

Her warm touch is what I miss
How I wish I had gotten 1 last Kiss

Now love had begotten my hardened soul
And my heart is as black as coal

Goodbye forever my one true love
I hope the best of you to rise above
