Being A Pop Star Poem by Raven Brent

Being A Pop Star

Life is lonely being famous.
They never know if you're real or famous.
If it's all about the music, well hey baby.
They'll never listen to what's inside your heart.
They may see the externals.
But the best part is seeing what's inside.

Let your heart out.
Let your heart out.
It's hard to be a pop star, if they don't know.

Oh, how you work so hard.
And baby let me know, if they know.
That you may crumble, you may fall.
But they never will see you.

Let your heart out.
Let your heart out.
It's hard to be a pop star.
Oh let it all out.

When you step outside, like they do.
Do they see you fall.
Do they come to your aid?
And if they do, and if they do.
Baby, baby, baby, hey they don't.
Because life is hard.
They don't see like I do.

Let your heart out.
Let your heart out.
It's hard to be a pop star.
Oh, don't make yourself cry.
