Being Close Poem by Rachel Purcell

Being Close

Rating: 5.0

I know that you are near when there is music that I hear
I don't always know why you had to go
You may have healed, I could have helped
I wish I was able to keep you here close to me
You were my best friend, you see
Now I am here all alone, often going to pick up the phone

I miss your voice, your kind, caring, handsome face
I miss the Love from you Dear Brother
I miss the feel of your sweet, long, loving, forever embrace

If I could come get you, I would win that race

I am okay, You made me that way
I know that I will see you again
Somewhere, Somehow, Someday
