Being Indian Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Being Indian

Rating: 5.0

.

You need not become social and human
Think of your being as woman
What can you do as free individual?
Rest all mater should pass as casual

It is good to write in poetry
As it has been done by many
Impress upon readers what you actually think?
No one shall jump in sea and sink

Follow instinct
And act
You have nothing to draw as line
There is nothing like civil or human lid

Some one may feel jealous
Some one may bear grudge for being famous
It is human nature
Never focus on them for your future

You embrace one or more
That shall not stop you to adore
In public life you come across
With affection with some terrific loss

Be proud of being Indian
You should feel custodian
Of your being with some moral value
Living with honor and dues
