Believe Poem by Peter Edwards

Believe

Rating: 5.0

As seasons turn and flowers grow,
The night is stained by streetlamp's glow,
High in the sky, a songbird sings,
Under the shadow of an airplane wing,
A life that's carried by the wind,
Is bound by signposts on the road,
The miracle, that seed of thought,
Is stunted by what we are taught,
Ideas, creative words to say,
Are caught within a man made cage,
But only we can set them free,
If we have the courage to believe.
