Believe In Humanity Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Faith must never be lost
Even if at life’s cost
It is way of life
To walk on an edge of knife

It guides our destiny
No one should be forced by many
To believe in particular deity
Or by name particular almighty

It may be the case of minority
Or the case of majority
Where majority of people may have different faith
The other people should not be pushed to death

The well known Parsee* community had migrated
As there religion and faith was threatened
They are firmly settled here and established
The controversy is once for all finished

Faith is what one believes
Even though the life carries on
Prays the creator whom he holds
The opinion about entire world

It is not advisable
To kill people and cause trouble
It is beautiful land created by an almighty
It blessed and we need to preserve humanity
