“believe In Me” Poem by Carey Gross

It’s a blessing from above to master the skill of lyrical delivery.
I have and that’s one of many reasons to remember me.
I don’t have to be an artist to paint the stories that I tell with my words.
I can rescue a princess and slay a dragon without any swords.
I’m not going to follow anyone’s lead I’m going to make my own path.
I refuse to be turned away or feel some one’s wrath.
I’m going to be somebody one day just wait and see.
And once I do you’re gonna wish you believed in me.
