“poetic Tears” Poem by Carey Gross

I cry the tears of a poet as I seek inspiration.
The tears of a poet are strong enough to cause eternal damnation.
If only I could show you the tears that fall from my face.
As is write, they flow at a steady pace as I wish I was in a better place.
The world is filled with souls that are good and bad.
As I progress through life I find myself glad.
Not because the world I live in but who I am.
Somehow I’ve made my way through this jam.
