Believe It Or Not Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Believe It Or Not

Rating: 5.0

Since long time
my life was happy
with an
overdose
of love

since
long time
I was happy
with a
well balanced dose
of love

since
long
time
I
am happy
with the daily dose
of love
of happiness
and of suffering

true love
we cannot deny
we know it
love and suffering
go hand in hand
recognized
as true love

Believe it or not
mine true love
and God….

'An overdose of love' is a beautiful expression! Only very rarely one feels that he/she is getting an overdose of love. I must call you lucky at a time when the world is thirsting for a drop of love! Of course love in turn demands some suffering also! A beautiful poem!

Ah, there you are dear Valsa! You are truly a Guru (in Indonesia where I was born guru is the synonym for teacher) Of course an overdose of love. You are that serious, really deadly serious, but of course, my dear teacher, that is with a tinge of irony, overdose of love suffocates, no? Thank you so much for valuable thoughts, Valsa. God's Blessings in Abundance be upon thee.
