Benediction To A Core Values Class Of Military Basics (1994)
If the abiding issue is both war and peace
And I love you as my children
Having given nothing of this frame to last
My gift to you must be stronger than death,
More desirable than chocolate,
More lasting than the kiss or bite of history's moment.
So in benediction
May you know a peace
Greater than success
More powerful than happiness
Enduring as life itself
That ever in wholeness your spirit may dwell upon this earth
And jump the life to come.
