Beoganvillea Rest Poem by John Evans

Beoganvillea Rest

Flora and fauna, the lovely queen –
Bougainvillea scent, Monarch’s dream,
Magenta leaves adorned by green –
Buds of white, center seen.
Inherent mystery
Quintessence glean
Of harvest moon
To sunlit dry,
To explain this beauty
I fail to try.
