The water in the sugar cane,
Came out clear,
Succulently sweet,
For my mouth to meet.

The water in the popsicle,
Came out orange,
As tart and sweet,
For my mouth to meet.

The water in the ice-cream
Came out creamy from milk,
As soft and sweet,
For my mouth to meet.

The water from my tap,
Came out just like that.
The best drink in the world
No sweetness but the sweetest sweet,
For my waiting mouth to meet and meet.
