Allan Gerard

~Betrayal Outweighs Death~

I've never told a lie, not like you
Cause I have never lived one
Bathed in the fountain of truth
Though in my youth I was lost

I weighed the cost upon these blind scales
Just as lost as justice fell
Pipers play and so do kids
Gamers game and solo wins

It begins and so it ends
Live to die and dies to live
But what's the point if you're not on it?
There's no escape if you're not honest

I've begot and I've been had
Excuse me if I'm a little mad
A Mad-mans ravings
About the geniuses repressed

The transparency of a convoluted conversation abreast
So let's put it to the test
Let's stare into each others eyes
Let's peek behind the mask into another's life

Delving as your diving into the dark
Swimming in a sea of lies

There is a life
There was a moment
But you can't be saved
If you wont own it

the truth will set you free and so will death. but a lie will let you live in agony and wish for death. we can't escape the truth no matter how hard we try. nice write (Report) Reply

Yea, many smart people are never given the chance that many others are in this world for obvious reasons. So I commend those that work twice as hard to get ahead. (Report) Reply

    Always lies destructing lifes...
    we have a cry inside
please, please, be honest with me-
Ours souls claim, justice and peace-
But the man is deaf by the clamor of the true-
    and here we are, suffering-
what's left of all lies! (Report) Reply

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
