Beware The Stepping Stone Poem by Terence George Craddock

Beware The Stepping Stone

the stepping stone
stepped upon
will lead to safe

passage across
brook stream rivers
dry fast efficient

or a slippery fall
a dip in the drink
or a sudden shock

drowning life loss
much depends
upon step choices

daylight nightlight
sun shining or rain
dry or flood risks

before first step
weigh potential risk
wise make choices
