Beyond Repair Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Beyond Repair

When an infestation begins to disease,
One's credibility allowed to be done.
Their ability to deceive,
Ongoing without it questioned to accept.
This oversight eventually entices,
A spreading of misunderstanding.
And dishonesty to invite.
Leaving this activity to flourish,
An erosion of established foundations.
As if the arrival of locusts,
Were uncaged and directed...
To manifest conflicts.
Between family members, friendships...
With a flourishing devastation.
That promises to remain that way,
To stay beyond repair.

"Who started this?
And why is no one admitting it? "

-There are some,
Who live, breathe and exist.
Just for themselves,
To fill that void...
Insecurities has left them seeking,
An attention to get.
Beyond the cost and damage,
That it takes to repair...
What has been lost.
And they could care less.
As long as the doing has been effective! -

"But...
That to do is evil."

-And your point to leave believed,
Is...
What?
Verification of an observation? -
